Terms of Use
Last updated 15 October 2026
These terms apply to the ORB iPhone app, operated by Viktoriia Kovalenko. By using ORB you agree to them and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Where the two differ, these terms add to the EULA rather than replace it.
Using ORB
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use ORB on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Don't copy, reverse engineer or resell the app.
ORB Plus subscriptions
- ORB Plus is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
- Manage or cancel anytime in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
App blocking and Hard mode
ORB uses Apple's Screen Time features to limit access to apps you choose. Hard mode prevents ending a session early from inside ORB. Blocking can always be removed by revoking ORB's Screen Time permission in iPhone Settings, and phone calls and emergency features are never blocked. Please don't use blocking in a way that keeps you from apps you may need for your safety, health or work.
No professional advice
Focus scores, streaks and reports are motivational tools, not medical, psychological or academic advice. ORB does not guarantee any particular grade or result.
Changes and availability
We may update, change or discontinue features to improve the app. If we stop offering ORB Plus, we will not charge you for periods you can no longer use.
Liability
ORB is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
