Answers to common questions. Still stuck? Email hello@danylokv.dev and you'll hear back within two working days.
- Why does ORB need Screen Time access?
- Apple only lets apps block other apps and show usage through Screen Time. ORB asks for it the first time you connect a rule or the Screen Time card. Your usage data stays on your iPhone; see the Privacy Policy.
- A blocked app still opens.
- Check that Screen Time access is on in iPhone Settings › Screen Time, and that the rule's days and hours include now. Strict mode for a session needs at least 15 minutes. Restart ORB if you just changed a rule.
- How do I stop a session early?
- Tap End early and wait the short pause. Sessions started in Hard mode can't be ended inside ORB; they finish on their own when the timer runs out.
- How does Pomodoro work?
- Each round is 25 minutes of study and a 5-minute break. Choose 1–8 rounds. Only study time counts toward your goal and streak.
- Why is my ORB cloudy?
- Your ORB clears as you reach today's study goal, and starts each day a little cloudy. The Screen Time card also shows how scattered your phone use has been.
- The widget or Live Activity doesn't update.
- Open ORB once after installing so it can share today's progress. Live Activities need to be allowed in iPhone Settings › ORB.
- How do I cancel ORB Plus?
- iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions › ORB. To get a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
- I bought Plus on another iPhone.
- Open the Plus screen in ORB and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.
- How do I delete my data?
- Delete the app. All sessions and settings live on your device and are removed with it.
